What I didn't know about men...

I finally know what really attracts men, and believe me, it's not what they tell you in magazines or television. This new book I ordered on amazon.com called "Attracting The Man Over 30" gave me real advice based on a real survey of 2500 men and what THEY said atttracted them to "todays" woman. I was shocked and surprised about what they said... I finally found a dating book that helped me.

We are physically attracted to beauty, fitness, and health. Whatever reminds us of that, will get us going. This is the "she is hot" attraction.

We are emotionally attracted based on the female's skills at attracting us, her femininity, and her personality. This is the "I like her" attraction.

Although, both sets of attraction are important in deciding whether or not we want to be with you, the two types of attraction are completely seperate.

I think men want their romantic partners to be intelligent, smart, beautiful, mature and sensitive.

I think each man wants a different degree of each of those qualities. These are my opinions.

-intelligent/smart: I don't care how much knowledge she has, but to keep up with me, she has to be a fast learner and have a good memory.
-beautiful: My guy friends say I am ridiculous for trying to look for women who have physical characteristics that compliment my weaker physical characteristics. I just don't want my kids to have my weaknesses. Disregarding those characteristics, she should be significantly more beautiful than me, at least - and not just physically.
-mature: Mature enough to not be annoying, but not too mature that she thinks that having fun is too foolish for her.
-sensitive: As sensitive as my sensitive side; otherwise I won't understand her.

Every guy has a different opinion on those things, so you just have to find out what he looks for, and apply yourself.
