I’m sure everyone has seen the signs for “$5 Psychic Readings” in their town or while traveling elsewhere. What I wanted to discuss here were your thoughts on using psychics for more than just personal entertainment, more specifically in police and detective work.

There’s been documented cases in the past where police haven’t been able to solve a crime, at which point they turn to a psychic for help.
What I find the most interesting is when the psychics they hire actually solve the case.

What are your thoughts on this? What about using psychics to help solve some of the current investigations (such as the Peterson or Hacking
trials?)

I’m not an expert myself on the topic, but I’ve been learning a bit more from a new show on Court TV called Psychic Detectives. It’s on Wednesday’s at 9:30pm in case you want to watch it too.

I'm going to answer your question from a medical point of view as I am a retired (disabled) Physician's Assistant. Did you know that as the human race continues to evolve, certain things will be accepted as the "norm" as time goes by - things that are now considered quite skeptical.

For example, as we evoke and learn to utilize more of our brain, (right now we only use a mere 10 per cent) there will be no need to open out mouths to communicate. Our thoughts will be transferred telapathetically - from one mind to another. We will be able to move things with our minds. We will acknowlege the existence of different planes of existance and energy - the spiritual world.

Of course, someday there will be peace too when our minds are fully developed. Often, I wish I would have been born during those times. Therefore, to answer your question, "yes" I think there are some genuine psychics out there - especailly ones whose powers have been recognized after a traumatic event which involved their brain and stimulated (awakened) different areas of their brain due to the event.

These are documented facts in the scientific community. There are, however, many fakes out there who prey on the weak and lonely which is sinful.
There are also certain people that for some unknown reason are genetically predisposed to physic abilities. Do you have a reason for asking?
