Accepting gifts?

What do you think of accepting gifts from a guy? Does accepting a gift mean accepting the guy?

This guy, he gave me chocolates, bookmarks, and some sweet stuffs. But we aren't dating yet. I would love to! But am too shy to kick start the whole dating session. :(

Well I'm not any kind of expert so dont hold me to this but I wouldnt read to much into it, I say this because I have a friend who quite often buys girls presents but he aint dating any of them. Thats just my experience though...
