if she's in the library she's there to study and besides you'd have to whisper to her anyway. Next time you see her around I'd just go up to her, introduce yourself, say hi and tell her you saw her in the library the other day and wanted to talk to her. ask her about her classes and why she studies so much! Make it a quick 2 minute conversation and just say well I just wanted to say hi and to see if maybe you'd like to go out sometime - if she says yes - ask for her number or email.

You may have a couple of outs here... Without Stalking the girl, you may want to conviently "bump" into her say, when she's on a break at the library.. I'm not sure if there is a coffee place, or some place where she may go in the middle of her study time, but you may want to be at that place... again... SANS Stalking... there is a fine line here, that if a girl senses an OUNCE of being followed, the only date you'll find is from campus security... You have to play it cool, but more importantly, play it simple... the simpler the better... If she smokes, you go outsite for a walk, maybe have you're cell with you to "make a call"... There are alot of convinient "bumps" that don't seem obvious that you can work on that will seem both natural, and unintrusive... Open with one of the classics one day if you are in the same place at the same time, like "Excuse me miss, do you have the time"... ohhh a gem I tell you... maybe the most effective one out there... note: try not to be wearing a watch...
